Last week was their annual picnic lunch. Shawn and I met up and joined them for hot dogs, salads, chips and dessert. It was really fun to see them in their environment and get to experience that with them. There is more fun to come too. This coming week is Taylor's final field trip, and it is to the Omaha Zoo. Our daycare always invites and encourages families to attend the field trips with their children, as they place a large emphasis on family time. So we will all be making the trip. The field trip is on Friday, so we will go camping Thursday evening, meet up with daycare at the zoo, and then finish the weekend camping with neighbors! Lots of fun to be had by all.
I thought you would enjoy this picture of the girls. I took it before daycare the one day. They are getting so big, and are really enjoying each other's company. Being in separate rooms in daycare has been good for them, and has given them a greater appreciation for each other. They frequently hold hands and call each other "best friend." Although we would love to monopolize all of their time and experiences, we feel pretty good about where they are at!
