We had been telling Taylor that as soon as we moved to MT we were going to take the training wheels off her bike so she could learn to ride it like a big girl. Well that day arrived on Tuesday, so off they came. She did soooo good. She went for quite a ways without Shawn's assistance before tipping. We were able to make it through the experience with a minor scrape on her knee (not even any tears with it)! Hailey wanted to try too of course, but she wasn't as brave when she got on the bike!
At one point Taylor was going down the driveway singing the Wizard of Oz, bike lady/witch song! Shawn could hardly stop laughing long enough to tell her that she needed to focus! What a goofy kid! After that she kept saying out loud to herself, "slow and steady, slow and steady." It was really cute! When did my little girl get sooooo big!
