It's Hard to Say Goodbye

As the post title says, "It is hard to say goodbye."  The bitter part of a bittersweet move finally came, as we knew it had to.  Saying goodbye to friends, teachers, and our home was made a little more difficult by the fact that Shawn was unable to make his flights back to Havre to join us for the final leg of the move.  I am not sure who this was harder on, the girls (especially Taylor) - who rely on Shawn pretty heavily for their snuggles, me - who was having to say goodbye to everyone without my main source of comfort, as well as get hotels, rental car, and flights all figured out alone, or Shawn - who wasn't able to say his final goodbyes to anyone, or be there for us when he knew we really needed him.  Needless to say it was a difficult few days!  The positive side to all of that, however, was that we were very anxious to get back together as a family and were ready for our lives to return to normal.
