Family Heirloom

When Mom and Dad were visiting our new house back in February, they noticed that there was an open space on the wall in our front entryway where the previous owner must have hung a quilt.  They discussed it, and felt that the perfect item for that spot was one of the original Navajo blankets that they had been given by my Grammy and Papa (which had been passed on to them).  I was hesitant to accept such a beautiful piece of art and a family heirloom, but Mom and Dad insisted.  The blanket is absolutely amazing, and the craftsmanship is exquisite.  The colors and pattern fit in the house so well, it is as if it was made specifically for that spot.  Thank you very much Mom and Dad for the generous gift!
