Well as you can see from the pictures, we have a princess Taylor. Not that this should be a surprise to anyone, seeing as how she is quite the little princess, running the show (or so she thinks). One of Taylor's daycare friends had a princess birthday party and everyone was supposed to dress up. Taylor loved her new princess dress and was pretty excited. She kept telling us that "I am beautiful Mommy. I'm a beautiful princess." It was a fun afternoon.
In other news, Hailey had her one year check-up on Thursday. She, or course, hated the entire thing, and cried and screamed most of the time. Taylor has always done so good with the doctor, hardly even crying when she gets shots, so I guess we were due for one that hates it. The doctor was quite impressed with how healthy both girls have been and was very happy with Hailey's progress. She weighs in at 20 lb 7 oz, and is 29 inches long. That is the 50% and 75%, respectively. Today she took two steps at one time, so is getting a little more daring there. She regularly says mama, dada, and baba, and is getting even better at making her desires and demands known with finger pointing and yelling! Yeah for us! She has another tooth poking through on the bottom and it looks like another two will be in on the top within a week. I swear we are going to blink and she will be running, talking our ears off, and then we will have two girls that believe they are princesses running the show!
