The little athlete

Although you might read the post below and think that Taylor is in the spotlight quite a bit, one cannot count out Hailey!  We are extremely proud of her as well!  Hailey has this natural athletic ability that leaves Shawn and I in awe.  So far there isn't any type of sport/activity that we have done with her, soccer, baseball, swimming, her scooter, her bike, etc that she has not picked up in record time.  She has great hand-eye coordination and a lot of strength for someone so little!  She is a blast to watch too! 

Hailey has seen Taylor riding her bike without training wheels since last summer, and although she was more than ready, balance wise, to take her training wheels off last summer as well, she wasn't ready for it mentally.  Last week we had some really nice spring weather and the girls got to enjoy a lot of time outside.  Out of no where, Hailey asked for her training wheels to come off.  Shawn obliged, and off she went!  After about once down the driveway she had the knack of it.  Although she gets a little panicked if you don't have a presence right next to her, she is more than able to do it on her own.  Now we just need to work on turning!
