Oh to be the Dad!

A few weeks back Hailey and I had the following conversation while making cookies.  I must have super human abilities in order to do the work of so many - oh wait, I AM a mom, so that explains it!  Wouldn't it be nice to fill the 4 year-olds perception of Dad though?!!

Hailey - "Mom, you are the Hailey, so you have to play outside."

Me - "Okay."

Hailey - "I am the Mom, so I have to work, cook, go to the store to get food, drive the car, clean, do laundry, make lunch, do bathtime, and take care of the dogs."

Me - "Okay."  And because I couldn't resist, I had to ask, "What does the person that plays the Dad have to do?"

Hailey - "Watch hunting shows and be a SUPER hero!"

Funny the perceptions of a 4 year-old! Love it!
