This post is a little slow in coming, but about a month ago we thought we would try the "new" camper out. We ended up going to the Wood Bottom Recreation area, which is right on the river. It was great because there is no "official" campground there, just a few turnouts along the riverbed where you can pull in and camp. We had this huge area to ourselves, which was really peaceful and quiet. The girls and dogs had a blast just tearing around all over the place. The camper worked out really nice too. I think another camping trip is planned here shortly.
